The Office of Community Engagement's mission is to foster activity that promotes stable, vibrant and safe neighborhoods and strengthen a sense of community for all residents. Through a partnership between Penn State Student Affairs and the Borough of State College, the Office serves as a resource to residents, as needed, and improves connections between the University Park Campus community, the Borough and residents. The Office focuses on engaging students in community life, ensuring that Borough neighborhoods, especially the three adjacent to Penn State University Park Campus, are attractive and vibrant places for residents and supporting community capacity building efforts within the neighborhoods.
