Stolen Credit Card Use
April 6, 2009 - On March 1, 2009 State College Police received a report of a theft and use of a stolen credit card.
The victim lost his credit card in downtown State College on February 28, 2009. The credit card was found and used at several downtown businesses. Several males used the card on February 28, 2009 and on March 1, 2009 at the Pita Pit Restaurant in Calder Way and then at the College Mart on Locust Lane. The males purchased approximately $330.00 worth of items with the stolen credit card. The males were captured on video using the credit card at the Pita Pit and the still photos from the video are displayed above.
State College Police are asking anyone who may recognize the suspects in the photos to contact the police department at (814) 234-7150, call Crimestoppers at 1-877-992-7463, or submit an anonymous tip via the web. Crimestoppers callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information leads to an arrest.
