Tax Office
The State College Borough Tax Office is located in the Finance Department in the Municipal Building. The Tax Office provides collection services for the Borough of State College and State College Area School District as well as collecting the Local Services Tax for the surrounding municipalities in the State College Area School District. Effective January 1, 2005, tax collection services expanded to include processing the Earned Income Tax for Halfmoon Township.
The Borough taxes collected include the following:
- Real Estate
- Earned Income and Net Profits
- Local Services Tax
