Administration

The Administration Department directs all of the departments within the Borough and directly manages the Offices of Finance and Tax Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, Community Engagement, and Purchasing and Risk Assessment.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

The Department of Equity & Inclusion is responsible for coordinating and guiding efforts to make State College a welcoming and engaging community for everyone. The department strives to ensure equal access to public services and advocates for inclusion by collaborating with all Borough Departments.

Parking

The Department of Parking is tasked with providing parking services to support the business community and neighborhoods of State College and to enforce parking laws and ordinances fairly and consistently.

Planning & Zoning

The Planning and Zoning Department prepares strategies to enhance long range development of the community, applies the zoning ordinance and regulations fairly for the benefit of all residents, and administers the Community Development Block Grant and HOME programs.

Police

Welcome to the official page of The State College Police Department. We are a municipal police agency operated by the Borough of State College, PA and provide 24-hour police services to the Borough of State College, Harris and College Townships.

Public Works

The Department of Public Works’s mission is to provide cost-effective and high-quality services to the public in a number of different areas, including engineering, public facilities, streets, sewers, parks, and more.
