Submit an Anonymous Tip
THIS FORM IS NOT TO BE USED FOR IMMEDIATE RESOLUTION OR CONTACT FROM A POLICE OFFICER. If it is an emergency, dial 9-1-1. If you need an officer to respond the same day, call (814) 234-7150 for dispatch, 24 hours a day. The anonymous tip form allows you to report suspicious or criminal activity in your neighborhood that does not require immediate attention.
The State College Police Department only handles police matters in the Borough of State College, College Township and Harris Township. For other locations, please contact your local law enforcement agency. You can also report crime through the Centre County Crime Stoppers at 1-877-99CRIME or the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4-PA-TIPS. You can report drug activity directly to the Centre County Drug Task Force by calling: 1-877-898-DRUG.
Please complete as much of the form as possible. The information will be forwarded to the appropriate unit. Sending your personal information to us is not required, however, if you would like to be contacted about your concern, please complete the name, phone number, and email boxes prior to submitting this form and someone will contact you. It is our policy not to trace the origin of an email sent via this form unless it is in the interest of public safety. All information will be investigated before any action is taken. Reports that are determined to be false will be designated as unfounded.
The State College Police Department and our community depend on its citizens to report crimes promptly and support the crime prevention efforts of local police. If crimes go unreported, little can be done to prevent other members of our community from becoming victims. You can help by reporting suspicious and criminal activity immediately.

The State College Police Department would like business contact information when responding to alarms and emergencies, should they arise. Please register your business and make a note to update it every year by completing our online Business Registration form. It's easy and could be critical information valuable in an emergency.
The State College Police Department will conduct exterior security inspections of your home while you are on vacation. You can notify us by calling (814) 234-7150 or stop by our offices at 243 South Allen Street. For your convenience, complete our online Vacation Home Check Request to let us know when you will be out of town.

The State College Police Department is continuously striving to improve the quality of its service by monitoring the performance of its employees.
The Police Department is sincerely interested in both rewarding above average performance and in taking corrective action in those instances where an employees performance fails to meet acceptable standards.
