The Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) is a joint municipal authority whose purpose is to provide public transportation services within the boundaries of its member municipalities.

Centre Region Council of Governments

The mission of the Centre Region Code Administration (CRCA) is to promote, provide and ensure the health, safety and welfare of all people working and residing in the participating municipalities of College, Ferguson, Harris, Halfmoon, Patton Townships and the Boroughs of State College and Bellefonte.

Financial Services

The Finance Services Department is in charge of matters concerning financial accounting, reporting services, payroll, revenue/tax collection, risk management, and parking revenue collection. The Department also provides financial services to the Centre Region Council of Governments (COG).

Fire Protection

The mission of the Regional Fire Protection Program is to maintain a volunteer fire company to provide fire, rescue, and related services to the Borough of State College and the Townships of College, Ferguson, and Patton, a small portion of Benner Township, and the University Park campus of Penn State University and provide the support and assistance necessary to assure the delivery of quality services.
