Annual In-Service Police Training

Each year every police officer in Pennsylvania is required to complete 12 hours of in-service training on various topics selected by the Municipal Police Officer Education and Training Commission (MPOETC). While MPOETC only requires 12 hours of in-service training annually, the State College Police Department requires every police officer to complete 32 hours of in-service training annually. Annual in-service training is conducted in January and February.
