The Borough of State College is developing a Climate Action, Resiliency, and Environmental Sustainability Plan in efforts to reduce the community’s greenhouse gas footprint, enhance environmental conservation efforts, and assist the community members in adapting to the impacts of climate change. The Borough is seeking feedback on community priorities and proposed strategies for this plan.

The Borough of State College is developing a Climate Action, Resiliency, and Environmental Sustainability Plan in efforts to reduce the community’s greenhouse gas footprint, enhance environmental conservation efforts, and assist the community members in adapting to the impacts of climate change. Upcoming Travel Restrictions on West Foster Avenue Between South Buckhout Street and South Patterson Street

On Tuesday, December 9, Kinsley Construction will be excavating West Foster Avenue Between South Buckhout Street and South Patterson Street to replace an existing gas service for Columbia Gas. Work will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and will cause one travel lane to be closed. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution when traveling near work areas. Questions about this project may go directly to Kinsley Construction by calling 717-881-0203.

Travel Restrictions on Holmes Street Between Adams Avenue and Hartwick Avenue

On Tuesday, December 9, Asplundh Tree LLC will be occupying Holmes Street between Adams Avenue and Hartwick Avenue for tree removal work. Work will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and will cause one travel lane to be closed. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution when traveling near work areas. Questions about this project may go directly to Asplundh Tree LLC by calling 570-502-0252.
