Spring Forward with Seasonal Leaf Collection

Spring leaf collection will occur from March 14 through May 6. Public Works crews will collect leaves once each week throughout the Borough until collection ends. Please rake leaves to curb, but do not rake leaves onto the street.

Brush is collected separately from leaves. You can schedule brush collection by calling (814) 234-7135 or submit a request online. For those with organics collection at the curb, grass clippings and brush that can fit inside a cart should be placed in the organic waste cart (green-lid).

Consolidated Annual Performance & Evaluation Report

Federal regulations require all Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) entitlement communities and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) participating jurisdictions to prepare and submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). This report summarizes the annual expenditures and activities of the CDBG and HOME programs.

The State College Borough CDBG/HOME programs is preparing its CAPER for the program year January through December 31, 2015. This report will be submitted to HUD at the close of business on March 30, 2016. Federal regulations require the CAPER to be made available to the public prior to its submission to HUD.

The 2015 CAPER for the CDBG/HOME programs will be available for public review and comment from March 14 through March 29, 2016, on the Borough's website. Copies will also be available during normal business hours at the Planning Department and at Schlow Centre Region Library. Questions and comments concerning the CAPER should be directed to the Planning Department, 243 South Allen Street, State College, PA (Phone 814-234-7109; TTY 814-234-7101).
