The May 2015 Municipal Primary will take place on May 19. There are four seats up for election on State College Borough Council. Please visit Centre County's website for election and voter registration information. If you do not know your polling place, utilize the form provided to find your precinct.

Mayor Led Ride Route

Spring Mayor-Led Bike Ride

In recognition of May as National Bike Month, State College Mayor Elizabeth Goreham, the Borough of State College and CentreBike will host the third Mayor-led Bike Ride on Saturday, May 16, at 9:30 a.m. beginning at the small pavilion at Orchard Park. Community members are invited to meet the Mayor and other local cyclists in the morning for conversation, coffee and light refreshments before embarking on a family-friendly, 7-mile leisurely bike ride along borough bike paths and routes.

State College Borough and Penn State have been named a recipient of the inaugural International Town Gown Association (ITGA) ImpACT Awards: Putting Practice into Action for their collaborative efforts in diminishing the negative effects of State Patty’s Day on the local community.

The awards are given to stakeholders involved in projects and initiatives that exemplify best practices in the fields of town-gown relations, ranging from quality of life initiatives to shared services and economic development.

Spring has finally arrived and with spring begins the task of maintaining our lawns. According to Borough Ordinance, grass and weeds may not exceed six inches in height throughout the growing season, which ends October 31.
