The parade route will be closed to vehicle traffic from approximately 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This impacts State Route 26, College Avenue, through downtown State College. Parking along the route will be restricted. There will be no parking on College Avenue from Garner Street to Atherton Street beginning at 4 p.m. Vehicles parked along the parade route will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Motorists may experience some traffic delays during the time of the parade. Westbound traffic on East College Avenue will be detoured onto University Drive. Delays are expected on University Drive, College Avenue, and Park Avenue. Those working or commuting during these times are encouraged to make alternate arrangements. It is recommended that anyone traveling through the area choose a route the does not include College Avenue (SR 26) as a travel route during the parade times.
