Last week, straight curb-gutter pieces that could be installed with a curb machine were completed as part of the Corl Street Reconstruction Project. Inlet and manhole frames have also been set to grade and curb work will continue the week of September 24. All curb work must be completed before the street can be paved.

The final paving has been postponed until early October due to the heavy rain experienced on Tuesday, September 18. The rain saturated the stone and clay, precluding the Public Works Department from putting heavy equipment on the street for two days.
