Public Safety
The Borough of State College Police Department requests your help in solving crimes and making State College a more safe place to live. It is NOT to be used where you expect a police officer to contact you the same day or for an emergency situation. In the case of an emergency dial 9-1-1.

The Police Department is also sincerely interested in both rewarding above average performance and in taking corrective action in those instances where an employees performance fails to meet acceptable standards. To commend, compliment or complain about the performance of a State College Police Department employee, notify a Police Department supervisor:
  • by coming in person to the State College Municipal Building
  • by mailing comments to the Borough mailing address: 243 South Allen Street, State College, PA 16801
