Member Information

The Civil Service Commission consists of three residents of the Borough or municipalities served by the Borough's Police Department and each member is appointed by Council for a term of six years.

About the Commission

The Commission has the power to prescribe, amend and enforce rules and regulations governing police appointments and promotions. In addition, the Commissioners hold appeal hearings on disciplinary actions, when appropriate. For questions about this authority, call 814-234-7115.
