Centre Region Parks & Recreation
A total of 13 municipal parks (115 acres) are owned by the Borough of State College. These parks, along with the 37 parks (656 acres) owned by the townships, are maintained and programmed by Centre Region Parks and Recreation (CRPR), an agency of the Centre Region Council of Governments. As a result of Borough cooperation with the four surrounding townships, all municipal parks and programs in the region are available for use by residents. Centre Region Parks and Recreation also provides a year-round menu of recreation programs and special events.
The details of all activities and municipal parks are available at the Centre Region Parks and Recreation website.
