Calder Way Improvement Project Phase 2 & 2A Community Update
This past week, the contractor, TerraWorks worked on several tasks including conduit, water and paving. Ameron Construction was also on site this week pouring the stamped concrete sidewalk outside of Planet Fitness.
Next week the contractor will begin restoration on the sidewalk between Sweet Tooth Bakery and 119 South Burrowes Street. Due to the restoration work, sidewalk closure signs will be placed directing pedestrians to New Alley. Water line replacement will also be occurring on South Burrowes Street. With this work, a lane restriction will be in place beginning Monday, April 20, and last until at least Wednesday afternoon.
This past week, the contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker began the installation of electric vaults and conduit. This work will continue this week and into next week. The contractor will also continue the installation of sanitary sewer lines and a manhole around the ōliv Hetzel building. With the installation there will be sidewalk restrictions in the area.
