Upcoming Testing Dates

• Sunday, January 10, 2027, at 10 a.m., State College Municipal Building Community Room (243 South Allen Street, State College, PA 16801, Second Floor)
• Tuesday, January 12, 2027, at 6 p.m., State College Municipal Building Community Room (243 South Allen Street, State College, PA 16801, Second Floor)
• Thursday, January 21, 2027, at 1 p.m., State College Municipal Building Community Room (243 South Allen Street, State College, PA 16801, Second Floor)

Applications to register for a testing date will be available on Monday, October 26. While applying, interested candidates will need to select their preferred testing date, along with paying a $30 testing fee. Registration for this testing cycle will close on Friday, December 18, 2026.

Recruitment Period

Thank you for your interest in employment with the State College Police Department. The Borough accepts police applications only during recruiting periods as directed by the State College Civil Service Commission.
